Found in "American Roundup" in today's Stars and Stripes--an AP photo of a hummingbird moth:
A Hummingbird Moth hovers feeds on flowers early Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2004 near Archer, Fla. This moth is often confused with the hummingbird as it feeds in the same areas and mannner as the hummingbird. This insect is about 2 inches long and can be seen usually from May to September in the South.Remember though, you read it here first. And second, come to think of it.
