FINALLY something worth posting
I realize that photos of my dishwasher and coin purse will be really hard to top, but I just have to try. The kids and I got an email from Fred a little while ago:
My Afghanistan trip is not going to happen. I will be on the flight from Kuwait to Germany on 6 July. Adjust the counter, Daddy is coming home…I have adjusted the counter accordingly.

I'm so happy for you all! I guess you'll be celebrating Independence day a little later then, but what a celebration it will be! I will continue to pray for a safe return.

I found your blog while surfing the 'net. I married my husband after he retired from the Air Force but I have been traveling around with him as he is a now a civilian employee of the DOD. I am an attorney like your husband but not in the JAG corp.
I have to say kudos to military spouses!! There is not enough credit given to military spouses who have to move every 2-3 years, raise their children (and in your case, from reading your blog, doing a wonderful job), have their career on hold while following their military spouses, and having a great attitude about it.
Hope your move goes smoothly. I have moved twice in a year and a half, so I know how it can be.
